e undertake projects of any size, from conducting small maintenance work on a pre-existing pages to designing a complete site from scratch. The total cost for a site varies widely depending on its content but as a rough measure of the total cost a regular, 2-3 page minimal site generally runs about $500 (us currency) 4-6 page site $1000 for the full design process, from the initial consultation to uploading the site to the client's server and registering it with on-line search engines, while a complex site with an elaborate presentation and interactive functions will generally cost around $3000.

The process

he typical design job begins with an initial meeting between QuasArt's design team and the client to establish the major goals and scope of the project. After this meeting we draw up a precise contract for the terms of the project. In general we require 30% of the estimated total cost of the project as a non-refundable, up-front payment.

Once we agree upon the terms of the contract and receive the initial payment we can begin work on the project. Unless the client has special needs we will construct the site at a location on our server known only to ourselves and the client. We urge our clients to follow along with our progress and visit the on-line construction site often so that we can receive instant feedback on the design as it is underway. The process becomes a dialogue between designer and client, sifting efficiently through available options to quickly and precisely generate a site tailored to the client's exact needs.

Once the client approves the final form of the design and provides payment in full we upload the site to their server or provide it to the client on digital media. If we upload the site ourselves we register the completed site with all of the major Internet search engines.

At that point the site is entirely in your hands. Of course, if you enjoyed our service and wish us to maintain the site for you, performing routine maintenance and keeping it up to date with your latest information, we will be more than happy to work out a regular service plan based on our normal hourly rate. Updates and maintenance to your site are available sold on a contract basis. Contracts are sold in blocks of yearly, monthly or bi - monthly.
